Colors — Privacy Policy
Colors ("the app", "we", "us") is an offline colour-perception game published by NovaVantage. Your privacy matters, and the app is built to respect it by design.
The Short Version
Colors works entirely offline. It does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking. Everything you do stays on your device.
Information We Collect
None that identifies you. Colors has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no network features. The app never transmits data off your device.
The app saves your game data — high scores, progress, calibration result, streaks, skill allocations, unlocked items and cosmetics, and your settings (including audio and accessibility preferences) — locally on your device using your operating system's standard storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
How Your Data Is Used
Solely to run the game on your device: to remember your progress, scores, and preferences between sessions.
Sharing
We do not share, sell, or disclose any data, because we neither collect nor receive any. The app contacts no servers operated by us for the purpose of collecting your information.
Third-Party Content
The app bundles royalty-free, public-domain (CC0) audio and third-party software components. These are included within the app and do not collect data from you. See "Credits" and "Software licenses" in the app.
Permissions
Colors requests no sensitive permissions. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or files. Audio is played locally from assets bundled in the app.
Children's Privacy
Colors is suitable for a general audience and for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. If you have questions, contact us at the address below.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your local game data stays on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app, which permanently removes it. Uninstalling the app deletes that data. We retain nothing.
Security
Because your data stays on your device, its security is governed by your device's own protections.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves (for example, if a future version adds online features such as leaderboards). If a future version adds online features, this policy will be updated first and the app will ask before enabling them. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
